Tally and Mass Brand Identity
In 2021, SEO expert Austin Helton launched his new company by the name of Tally & Mass with the motto “A radically honest marketing consultancy.” The company ethos is to provide a no-frills approach to improve the online presence of their clients. As such, the logo needed to convey simplicity and expertise.
The ampersand played an early role in the design process and became the centerpiece when combined with a tally mark. Early concepts included various font weights for the wordmark, though they were deemed too distracting from the prominent logomark.
The final color scheme of natural tan and pale blue further convey the down-to-earth attitude that the company employs.
